Buena nota.

https://kazinoparskats.com came to mind reading about these mothers rebuilding their lives through cooking, since the part about recipes becoming a way to pass down identity while also earning money feels like the real heart of it. What struck me is how the kitchen turns into a small business without losing the family dimension, and I've seen that same pattern with women I know who started selling homemade food after moving abroad. The detail about these being recipes tied to specific regions of Italy makes me think the food is doing double duty as a link back home and a way to meet London on their own terms.
